The “A” plywood chair is a design exercise that challenges the constraint of making a furniture with just using only one sheet of 4’ x 8’ plywood and a CNC Machine. It uses no metal hardware or ready made fittings. All of the jointery is planned and integrated in the way the plywood is cut. The design takes into account the ergonomics, comfort, aesthetics, fabrication methods and manufacturability.
